About

My name is Stephen Rumble and I am the owner of Altitude Electrics PtyLtd.  My company has been in operation for 27 years and I have been servicing the Macedon Ranges area for the past 22 years.

After many years working in the building industry in both Victoria and Sydney, gaining valuable experience on all types of electrical work I commenced my business in 1996.

I believed with my knowledge, experience and work ethics I could offer clients a diverse range of electrical services.

Excavation / Trenching - Underground power trenching and excavation. Water and gas pipe trenching. Pipe and conduit trenching.

A range of trenchers and excavators to suit large or small trenching jobs.

In the Trade Sector - I service various shop owners where lighting and power layout is essential to their daily operation and image. I provide and maintain electrical tagging of equipment and tools and the maintenance of Emergency Lighting and Exit signs as per Work safe Regulations.

In the Industrial Sector - I service and maintain factories and plants where the production and running of machinery 24 hours a day / 7 days a week is essential. Testing and tagging of equipment and maintenance of Emergency Exits & Lighting.

Industrial / Commercial - being able to respond quickly if a break-down occurs and being able to have plant and machinery back up and running as soon as possible is extremely important. It is imperative that disrupting to production lines is minimal. When new machinery is purchase, power upgraded or a plant is extended, careful planning of the installation is required so as not to disrupt productivity.

New home owners - clients have been able to save on time and cost with my business. I am able to sit with the client from the start and calculate the power requirements to their homes, sheds, orchards or farming needs, I am then able to carry out all trenching or excavation work and complete all electrical work as necessary.

Existing homes - installation of new equipment, lighting, maintenance, increasing power supply for extensions, sheds and machinery needs and any trenching or excavation work required.

Domestic - I am often called to sit with a client and work through plans for their new home and cater for all their electrical requirements, i.e. how many lights in their home and their location, power points, fans, heating, outside lighting in gardens or feature areas etc.

In regards to lighting, clients tell me of the desired effect they are looking to achieve and I offer suggestions in the choice of lighting. It is very important to explain what lights work best in different rooms and what can and can’t be achieved. Often clients have an idea in mind of how they want their lounge room lit and I must work with then to best achieve this look and effect.
